Climatic Condition and best time to visit:

Kanha National Park is open for the tourists from 15th October to 30th June. The ideal time to visit the park is during the winters that is from October to March because the climate becomes very comfortable both for wildlife and the visitors. • Raipur airport- 230 kms/ 5 h

 

By Rail – The closest railway stations for Kanha national Park are at Bilaspur (175 kms), Gondia (127 kms), Jabalpur (214 kms), Nagpur (280 kms) and Raipur (230 kms). Tourists can hire a cab from the respective stations to reach Kanha National Park.

By Road – Kanha is well connected via road from different parts of India. The nearest cities are Jabalpur (160 kms), Raipur (230 Kms) and Nagpur (280 kms).
