Sprawled across 543 sq km approximately, Panna National Park is one of the prominent wildlife destinations in Madhya Pradesh, which is located on the Vindhya Hills. It was declared as the tiger reserve in the year 1994. There are primarily two entry gates for Panna National Park. They are Madla and Hinauta. Although there are no vehicles for jungle safari is available from forest department, tourists can either hire vehicles from Khajuraho and Pana city. Jungle safaris are allowed from sunrise till 11 am in the morning and 3pm or 4 pm till sunset in the evening. The safari timings may change according the weather. The weather at Panna national Park is dry and hot. Summers are very hot and winters are cold. During monsoons, tourists are not allowed for Jungle Safari.
